The role
Xata is looking for a Developer Educator to create technical content, across various mediums, to continue to raise awareness of Xata within the developer community. Ideally, you will have experience as an engineer working with PostgreSQL. We are looking for someone who can think strategically but isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves up, dive into the weeds and execute. This is a high impact and provides ample opportunity for growth.
What you'll be doing:

Plan and execute on the Xata content marketing strategy.
- Develop technical blogs, short and long form videos, example applications, educational content and other materials to engage more deeply with the Xata community.
- Provide thought leadership content around industry trends and core technological innovations in the database space.
- Partner closely with product, engineering and design and have a key voice in product positioning, messaging and launches.
- Amplify messaging for a variety of audiences that can be adapted across multiple social, web and event channels.
Skill’s you’ll bring:

Proven experience creating both written and video technical content for a developer focused solution.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience working with databases and/or datastores
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A growth mindset and thrives in a fast paced startup environment.
- Creative and innovative thinking in how we better reach our Xata community but also how we elevate our company to the next level.
- Comfortable working in a cross functional role and a highly distributed team.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
